The SMARTRAIL X835B-MID Digital Power Meter can be configured through the password-protected set up menu to work in Single or Three Phase circuits. The unit itself works in conjunction with 1A or 5A current transformers, allowing an easy installation especially when retro-fitting. We have also designed a simple, but effective panel-mounting kit which secures this dinrail meter within a 92mm square cutout to provide a solution to a MID Approved 96mm square Panel Meter.

This particular meter has proven to be very popular due to it's intelligent set up which differentiates between Import & Export kWh. Unlike other meters available on the market, this model has Pulse and Modbus communications built in, eradicating the requirement of purchasing extra modules. The SMARTRAIL X835 Series is housed in a 4-DIN (72mm) case meaning it is compact and space-saving. This specific model measures Active Power, Reactive Power, Apparent Power, Total Active Energy, Import & Export Active Energy, Total Reactive Energy, Import & Export Reactive Energy.

We have invested in MID B&D certification for the SMARTRAIL X835B-MID, this proves the accuracy and quality of the product and allows it to be used for Billing Applications. As of April 2016, MID approved Meters will be the only legal option when the measurements are to be used for billing. All of our MID approved meters are certified here in the UK.
